Connecting Young People to Nature
We want to enable every child from Birmingham and the Black Country to grow up with a love of nature, to inspire them to develop lifelong relationships with our urban wild places and to foster their ability to care for and protect the wildlife on our doorsteps and in the wider world.
We know that connecting children to nature and nurturing deeper relationships with the natural world has many benefits, including better physical health, wellbeing and improved academic achievement. With a deepening climate crisis it is more important than ever that children make meaningful connections with the natural world through sensory and exploratory experiences to ensure the future of the planet.

What we Offer:
School Visits to Our Centres
A visit to one of our two environmental education centres provides an unforgettable learning experience for Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key stage 2 classes. School groups can book a trip to either EcoPark in East Birmingham or to our Centre of the Earth in Winson Green where our expert educators will lead your group on a journey of exploration and discovery.
Visits in Your School Grounds
Rising transport costs are becoming a barrier to taking school trips. Let us bring nature to you! We are committed to bring nature and outdoor learning to children in some of the most nature depleted wards in our region.
Nature Tots
Our Nature Tots sessions are exciting, fun and inspiring! Taking place at EcoPark every Friday during term time, we engage children in hands-on outdoor activities themed around wildlife, developing a love of nature and play that can last a lifetime.
Our Environmental Education Centres
A visit to one of our Environmental Education Centres provides an unforgettable, hands-on learning experience, surrounded by nature in the heart of the city. Primary Schools can book whole class trips to either EcoPark in Small Heath in East Birmingham or to our Centre of the Earth in Winson Green.
