Wild Festive Ornament Felting Workshop
About the event
Local artist, ILdiko, will guide you through the needle felting session and provide all the necessary tools and materials so you can make your own wild festive wool ornament. You can choose between making a reindeer, a robin, a toadstool or holly leaves and berries, which you will take home to decorate your home this festive season.
There will be two workshops on the day, one at 10:15am and one at 11:45am, each one lasting 1h 15min. The activity is suitable to anyone aged 14 and above. We will be using a sharp felting needle, a sponge and wool; therefore focus, mindfulness and a careful attitude is required!
Taking place in the Map Room at Cherry Reds Café Bar, located right next to Birmingham’s New Street Station. The room is on a first floor and to reach it you have to climb a steep flight of stairs, so unfortunately it has no wheelchair access.
Please arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled time to sign in and to have time to get yourself a hot drink from the café.
As this event uses sheep's wool, it is not recommended for anyone with a lanolin allergy. If you have any accessibility needs or concerns, please let us know by writing to to membership@bbcwildlife.org.uk and we will do our best to accomodate.
