About the event

We're delighted to announce that the 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of The Wildlife Trust for Birmingham and the Black Country Ltd will be held in person at Highbury Hall on Saturday 17th October 2026 at 10:30am.

On the day, besides receiving updates about our work and associated business, we will hear from Alison Millward, one of the first employees of the Urban Wildlife Group (which went on to become BBCWT) and a founding member of the Chamberlain Highbury Trust. Afterwards, as an exclusive benefit for members, you are invited to join us for a guided tour of the stunning Highbury Hall.

After the meeting and tour, our second Birmingham Fungi Festival will be taking place in Highbury Hall and Park from 12.00 - 16.00pm. We hope you can stay to join us for fungi forays, talks, craft activities and more!
