About the event

Normally closed to the public, Turner's Wood is a hidden gem by Pelsall Commons, Walsall. On our first Volunteer Taster Day, we'll be opening the reserve to anyone interested in volunteering with us at our new monthly sessions, taking place on the 2nd Tuesday of every month.

Please note this initial session will be open to anyone aged 18+.

Running from 10.30-15.00, it'll be a great chance to meet our conservation team and take part in some practical conservation tasks such as bluebell seed collection and clearance work, helping the reserve's bluebells bloom better than ever in the coming years!

If you'd like to join us on the day, please send an email to Conservation Officer, Jack, at Jack.E@bbcwildlife.org.uk so we can ensure that we have enough tools and tea bags for the day!
