Dawberry Fields Reptile Project is go!

We'll be creating habitat for slow worms and common lizards to thrive at Dawberry Fields.

We’re delighted to announce the success of our Dawberry Fields Reptile Project fundraiser. Working in partnership with the Naturally Birmingham Future Parks Accelerator Programme and the local community, we set out to raise £2,000 and were extremely grateful to surpass that target and raise £2,360 through 77 generous donations, including £1,000 from IM Properties!

The project will create habitat for slow worms and common lizards to thrive at Dawberry Fields in Brandwood End, Birmingham. We will install banks and stones to provide safe places for these protected species to bask and hibernate, as well as creating homes for a range of other wildlife by creating areas of wildflowers.

Kerry Amony, Social Value Manager at IM Properties, whose £1,000 donation helped us to exceed our fundraising target, commented: “It’s fantastic to help fund the Dawberry Fields Reptile Project and see just how many members of the public have donated money too. Promoting biodiversity is hugely important and its clear from the level of support that being close to nature is having a big impact on people’s lives."

We can't wait to get started!
