During the past 12 months Steve and his team have ventured to some of the most inhospitable and remote places on Earth. From the Arctic to deserts,  impenetrable rainforests to underground cave systems, they trek, kayak, climb, ski, dive and abseil into places where no humans have ever been before. Join Steve and hear of the near death scrapes that he and his crew endured in the their quest to complete their expeditions and world firsts.

Steve Backshall is a BAFTA award-winning wildlife expert, adventurer, natural history TV presenter, public speaker and author who has been passionate about the wild world ever since he could crawl. Steve’s recent work includes presenting Hedgehog A&E on Channel 5 with Brian May and has co-presented BBC One’s Blue Planet Live in March 2019 with Liz Bonnin and Chris Packham. Earlier this year, Steve toured his Deadly 60 Live on Stage show in Australia and last year appeared on our screens presenting Deadly Dinosaurs and Monster Mountain (CBBC), as well as guest presenting Springwatch on BBC Two. Steve’s brand-new TV expedition series has broadcast on BBC Two earlier this year with the full 10-part series airing on UKTV Dave in July, making this event a must-see exclusive before anyone else!
