About the event

Come along to discover the wonderful wildlife at our Deer's Leap Wood nature reserve! An urban oasis less than 3 miles from Birmingham city centre, Deer's Leap Wood is a wonderful mix of informal woodland, pond, boundary brook and meadow areas which have been formally designated as a Site of Local Importance for Nature Conservation (SLINC).

This event takes places during the City Nature Challenge, a global challenge to see which city is wildest, so our Conservation Officer, Sarah, will be on hand to help you to discover the wide range of wildlife on site! Every record we make during the day will help to show the rest of the world just how wild Birmingham and the Black Country really is!
