Business Partnerships

Business Partnerships

Partnerships with the Birmingham and Black Country Wildlife Trust are good for people, good for wildlife and good for business.

Partnerships with business from all sectors from sole-traders to multi-nationals play an important role in our work to reverse nature’s decline across Birmingham and the Black Country. Donations raised through partnerships support our work for nature’s recovery whilst providing employees and customers with the opportunity to learn more about the local natural environment. We’d like to say a huge thank you to all our business supporters new and old. To discuss how your business can partner with us, from becoming a business member, sponsorship, donating a percentage of sales, booking workshops or employee fundraising, email emma.t@bbcwildlife.org.uk or download our My Wild Work brochure here.

Arup Midlands are delighted to hand over the cheque for £2697 to support BBCWT with their ongoing work, as it closely aligns with Arup’s sustainable development goals. Although it is the end of the official charity of the year with BBCWT we are excited to continue the relationship and support the charity with projects in the near future.”

Wild Experience Days

Our Wild Experience Days are an opportunity for colleagues to join our experienced team for a unique day of practical or educational activities. Arrange a fun day away from the ‘office’ with the chance to learn new skills, connect with nature and build team rapport.

Contributions towards Wild Experience Days provide valuable funds to purchase tools, materials and resources that enable our vital conservation and education work. Wild Experience Days can be arranged at one of nature reserves, project sites or even your own site.

Recent Wild Experience Days have included:

  • A team from Cadent Gas planted woodland trees and flowers at Woodgate Valley Country park as part of our Natural Rivers Green Corridors project in March
  • Cadent Gas colleagues also joined us at our EcoPark education centre to remove invasive plant species and build banks to prevent the pond from overflowing in March
