How You Can Support the Rowley Hills Appeal

Peacock ButterflyPeacock Butterfly on the Rowley Hills

The Wildlife Trust has had to act quickly and buy the Rowley Hill nature reserve. We need your help to cover the cost of purchasing the land and those of future management. We also need help to support our vision to bring as much as possible of the Rowley Hills grasslands into a wider nature reserve to secure their future for wildlife and as a place that everyone can enjoy.

How we will use the Funds Raised by the Appeal

David Bellamy says: "Great news - Please support the Rowley Hills Campaign!"

We will use your donation to

  • To cover the cost of purchasing the Nature Reserve
  • To create a larger nature reserve across the Rowley Hills for wildlife and people to enjoy
  • To secure agreements with sympathetic landowners who share our vision
  • If necessary, to acquire further land of high wildlife value to bring it into sustainable management
  • Cover the ongoing costs of managing the land as a nature reserve

If we receive donations that exceed the cost of doing the above, they will be used to fund the management of our other nature reserves in Birmingham and the Black Country.

This means that 100% of your donation will be used to protect the Rowley Hills and support the management of local nature reserves.
