Volunteer Day - Cotwall End Local Nature Reserve
Event details
About the event
Volunteers will be given the opportunity to get involved in a variety of practical conservation tasks including heathland restoration.
No prior experience of conservation volunteering is required as training will be given by our staff.
All tools and equipment are provided as well as refreshments but you will need to bring some lunch.
We advise volunteers to wear outdoor clothing appropriate for the weather and volunteering on a nature reserve, as well as sturdy footwear including walking boots, wellington boots or ideally steel-toe capped boots.
The volunteer days are a partnership with the Wildlife Trust for Birmingham and the Black Country, Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council, the Friends of Cotwall End Local Nature Reserve and the Birmingham and the Black Country Reptile and Amphibian Group.
