Corporate Volunteering

We rely on the support of individuals and businesses in Birmingham and the Black Country to help us make the area a great place for people and wildlife. Your involvement has an immediate impact on the quality of environment in which your employees live and work and we offer bespoke or off-the-shelf corporate volunteer and team building days.

The Wildlife Trust’s Conservation Projects team are able to match businesses with projects and organise all aspects of running a volunteer day. Corporate Volunteer days can be one-off sessions or regular involvement in ongoing projects. The Conservation Projects team are responsible for the practical management of nature reserves in Birmingham and the Black Country. This management can involve work in habitat management, site and building maintenance or environmental clean ups.

In order to cover our costs for supervising corporate events we have the following charges:

  • Groups of up to 8 people can be involved in existing projects. We will send a list of dates for you to choose from. For this we ask groups to make a contribution toward the cost of tools and materials
  • For groups of 8-16 people we will find a project to suit this team. For this we charge £500 + VAT and  £300 + VAT for every additional 10 people.

There is also the option of joining the Wildlife Trust as a corporate member. This demonstrates to your suppliers, neighbours, local MPs and the public, that your company or organisation takes its social and environmental responsibilities seriously. For further information please see the file below or call or the Trust's Membership Officer on 0121 454 1199.
